About Kendra D. Deangelis, MD
Dr. DeAngelis has obtained extensive training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, making her a uniquely skilled surgeon to Newsom Eye and the Tampa Bay area. Her refined surgery techniques are used to repair eyelids, tear ducts, and orbital bones. Dr. DeAngelis performs various eyelid surgeries, including the most common procedure blepharoplasty (eyelid lift surgery), and levator resection to remedy ptosis. These procedures are used to treat different causes of droopy eyelids for both medical and cosmetic purposes to improve vision and reduce eye irritation. In addition to visual benefits, ocular plastic surgery can improve one’s appearance. Dr. DeAngelis’ training and expertise in plastic surgery make her a confident choice for elective eye surgeries. In her free time, Dr. DeAngelis enjoys sports, the beach, golfing, singing, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family. As a graduate of the University of Georgia, she is an avid Bulldogs fan and can be found cheering her team on during football season.
