About Kelly T. Hood, MD
Dr. Kelly Hood is a board certified dermatologist. A Louisiana native, she took her dermatology training at Tulane University Medical School. Dr. Hood is a general dermatologist and has many special interests in the field including acne, cosmetic enhancement, skin cancer and immunology of the skin. Dr. Hood has done research in the field of dermatology/immunology at the National Institutes of Health. At Tulane University Medical Center, she extensively studied chemical peel techniques for cosmetic skin rejuvenation. Dr. Hood is a spokesperson for and member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, the San Francisco Dermatologic Society, and California Cosmetic Dermatologists.
