About Kathy L. Anderson, DO
Kathy L. Anderson, DO, FAOCD is a Board Certified Dermatologist who has been practicing dermatology since 1995 and has been in the Clearwater area since 1999. Dr. Anderson sees patients of all ages for skin problems and skin cancer treatments. Cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation are also a specialty of Dr. Anderson. Kathy L. Anderson, DO, FAOCD received specialized training throughout her residency in the use of lasers for treatment of various medical problems as well as cosmetic procedures. She has performed FDA studies for Intense Pulsed Light devices and combines therapies such as lasers, neurotoxins, fillers, and various other products to achieve improvement in facial wrinkles and age spots. Dr. Anderson combines anti-oxidant skin care products with medical treatments to restore and revitalize damaged skin. Protection against the UV radiation from the sun is emphasized at every patient appointment and patients are educated on how to best protect their skin. Kathy L. Anderson, DO, FAOCD attended Northeastern University, where she graduated with honors. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her dermatology residency in Boston. Dr. Anderson has been involved in teaching at various medical centers and hospitals. She is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
