About Kathleen Mcguinn, MD
Dr. McGuinn completed her residency in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University where she served as chief resident during her final year. She is a native of York, PA and attended Gettysburg College where she graduated summa cum laude in 2010. Afterward she received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Here she completed a one year research fellowship in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology studying skin cancer, especially squamous cell carcinoma. During this time, she published several articles in leading dermatologic journals, presented at national and international meetings, and received a grant from the American Skin Association. Following her fellowship, she completed her preliminary internal medicine internship at Lankenau Medical Center before completing her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2019. Dr. McGuinn practices a combination of general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
