About Kat Walsh, Aesthetician Specialist
Kat is a licensed massage therapist and medical esthetician with 25 years of combined experience. Her passion for aesthetics began when she completed her training at the ChicagoSchool of Massage Therapy in 1994 with specialties in deep tissue, trigger point, Thai massage, pre-natal and Swedish massage. The rewards from helping people from her bodywork practice expanded into her next love, skin care. Soon after, Kat graduated from Pivot Point International in 1996 for esthetics. Since then she has attended many advanced skin care courses, massage and bodywork workshops and continues to educate herself in both fields and loves how they complement each other. Staying inspired and continuing to grow in her fields are extremely important to her. The challenges addressing a variety of skin care needs and the musculoskeletal issues of her patients is why she loves this industry so much. Her treatment philosophy is results driven and to keep it simple but effective. Kat's warm and energetic personality as well as her professionalism and experience will , make you feel excited to pursue your bodywork needs and skin care goals together. Kat enjoys the outdoors, health and fitness and is quite the foodie.
