About Karina Richani-Reverol, MD
Dr. Karina Richani is a assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Richani cares for patients of all ages. She is devoted to providing compassionate and personalized care. Dr. Richani is an active member of several professional organizations including American Academy of Ophthalmology and Houston Ophthalmological Society. She has received many awards throughout her career including: Kresge Eye Institute Lawrence L. Stocker Award Most Compassionate Resident Physician (2010), Kresge Eye Institute Outstanding Achievement in Education (2010), and Star of Kresge, excellence in patient care. Kresge Eye Institute (2008). When Dr. Richani is not caring for her patients, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and three children.
