About Kara D. Capriotti, MD
Dr. Capriotti is a summa cum laude and top of her class graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science in neuroscience. She attended Drexel University College of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She received the American Medical Women's Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. Dr. Capriotti completed her medical internship at The Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She attended Thomas Jefferson University for her dermatology residency, where she was chief resident. Special interests include the early detection and treatment of skin cancer, along with acne, psoriasis, and geriatric dermatology. Dr. Capriotti is a specialist in skin cancer screenings and surveillance, including Mohs surgery. She also appears as the dermatologist for Main Line Health's video series for women.
