About Juan G. Vasquez, MD
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and graduated from the University of Southern California. I then went to Yale University School of Medicine, and I also completed a surgical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Later, I performed research in cancer vaccine design in the Department of Dermatology at Yale. I did my residency in Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh. Besides seeing patients at the University of Pittsburgh after residency, I also obtained sub-specialty training in Dermatopathology. I am board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. I love my profession and thoroughly enjoy helping patients. My wife and I moved to Grand Rapids, since it is a great city in which to grow roots. We love outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
