About Joshua M. Rubinstein

Dr. Rubinstein attended the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He did a full five year residency in General Surgery at the Health Science Center at Brooklyn, a part of the State University of New York where he also served as a Chief Resident. Next, Dr. Rubinstein completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then completed his training with a fellowship in Hand Surgery at New York Hospital. Dr. Rubinstein has been practicing Plastic Surgery in the Bronx since 1992. During that time, he served as Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital for 17 years. He has also been an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he continues to teach and serve on committees. Dr. Rubinstein is board certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Rubinstein is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and belongs to several other professional organizations including the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Rubinstein has been recognized as one of The Best Doctors in New York by New York Magazine, and has been selected by Castle Connolly as one of the Top Doctors in New York every year since 1999.
