About Joseph E. Mckeown, MD
Dr. Joseph E. McKeown is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. McKeown received his bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, where he graduated Maxima Cum Laude. He earned his M.D. degree from Temple University where he also completed his residency in General Surgery. His fellowship in Plastic Surgery was obtained at Medical College of Virginia. Dr. McKeown received his board certification in General Surgery from the American Board of Surgery; and his board certification in Plastic Surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the Virginia Medical Society and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. McKeown prides himself on the meticulous care he gives to his patients from their initial contact and through all phases of their treatment. Dr. McKeown listens closely to each patient’s desire for personal change to develop a safe, realistic plan for cosmetic surgery.
