Dr. Zinsser is a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience in all aspects of facial, breast and body contouring surgery. One of the main factors in your plastic surgery success is your surgeon. Being certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Zinsser has gone through extensive training, experience, exams and continuous education to obtain and maintain his active status. This certification is not only a symbol, but proof that your surgeon is dedicated to your safety, excellent results and a higher standard of ethics and care. Dr. Zinsser's education began at Southwest Texas State University where he majored in Physiology and Chemistry. He then continued to obtain his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. He completed his general surgery training at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his plastic surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Zinsser has been in practice here in Richmond since 1998, and has hospital privileges at all of the Bon Secours and HCA hospitals in and around the metropolitan area of Richmond.
