About John J. Laskas, MD
John J. Laskas, Jr., M.D. joined our practice full time in 1976 He has over 42 years of experience as a Dermatologist with special interest in skin cancer, especially malignant melanomas. Dr. Laskas has further special interest in Pediatric and Geriatric Dermatology. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He attended Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill and received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia. He was awarded his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Wilmington Medical Center, he completed his residency training in the Department of Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Laskas is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Dermatology and the Department of Family Practice at Crozer Chester Medical Center.
