About John Browning, MD
John Browning, M.D., F.A.A.D, F.A.A.P., MBA is board certified in pediatrics, dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. As the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology and the Chief of Staff of Pediatric Dermatology, Dr. Browning has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating skin conditions in patients of all ages. Dr. Browning obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University Honors Program; he then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston and continued his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Browning also completed his residency in dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine; he was Chief Resident in 2006-2007. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellow. Dr. Browning is the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He also serves as the Chief of Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
