About Joely Y. Kaufman, MD
Joely Kaufman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist in our Miami (Coral Gables) office. She graduated from the University of Miami – Miller School of Medicine, where she also trained as a dermatologist at the prestigious Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. She continues to teach aesthetic procedures to medical students, residents and fellows at the University. In addition to her board certification in dermatology, Dr. Kaufman is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has vast experience with lasers to treat aging skin and cosmetic procedures and has been involved with numerous research studies for new devices in the cosmetic industry. Dr. Kaufman has been an invited lecturer at many meetings, including the World Congress of Dermatology in Argentina, the European Academy of Dermatology in Prague, Kuwait, and Pisa, Italy. She is the author of a monthly column for Dermatology Times on lasers and their uses in the dermatologic field. She is currently the President of the Miami Society for Dermatology and the Vice-President of the Florida Society for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Kaufman has been featured on the Dr. Oz show and in numerous publications for her innovative ideas and opinions in dermatology.
