About Jessica M. Sprague, MD
Jessica Sprague, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who cares for people with both general and complex skin conditions. Her interests include treating acne, eczema (atopic dermatitis), psoriasis, pemphigoid, pemphigus, lichen planus, lichen sclerosis, hidradenitis suppurativa and other inflammatory and neoplastic skin disorders. Dr. Sprague also specializes in treating skin diseases in children, and practices at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. As an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology, Dr. Sprague trains medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. Her dermatology residency was at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine, where she also earned her medical degree. She also holds a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University. She is board certified in dermatology. Dr. Sprague is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. In her free time, Dr. Sprague enjoys cooking, travel, reading and hiking with her golden retriever. She speaks Spanish in addition to English.
