About Jennifer Krasnoff, MD
Dr. Jennifer Krasnoff has practiced dermatology since 1994. She has an extensive background in general dermatology and specializes in women’s medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Krasnoff is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Krasnoff places a high priority on her patients’ well being and enjoys learning about their lives, understanding their concerns and designing the most appropriate and successful treatment path for each individual. An active participant in the dermatology field, Dr. Krasnoff lectures at professional meetings, regularly attends educational conferences and publishes articles in leading medical journals. She is committed to the needs of her community, offering free skin cancer screenings at local hospitals and corporations and educating teachers and students at the elementary school level. Dr. Krasnoff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature from Cornell University. She earned her medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine, and completed a residency in internal medicine and dermatology at Yale University. She strengthened her own education by studying dermatology at the international and local levels, winning a scholarship from the American Academy of Dermatology to collaborate with colleagues in France and following her residency, working in the Adirondack region of New York State, where she was the only private practice dermatologist within a 50-mile radius. Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Krasnoff returned to Northern California to coâ€found Dermatology Associates of the Bay Area in 1998. Dr. Krasnoff is the proud mother of three children. She is an accomplished pianist and has recently become a triathlete.
