About Javier Alonso-Llamazares, MD
Dr. Javier Alonso, a native of Spain, studied medicine in the University of Salamanca and graduated from Navarra Medical School in 1989. In 1990, he moved to Madrid where he specialized in Dermatology; and for the next 10 years he dedicated his time to expand his dermatology skills, trained and sub-specialized in pathology of the skin at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester (MN). His impressive knowledge and abilities have made him a very well-known dermatologist in the US as well as abroad. Dr. Alonso has vast experience in cosmetic and laser procedures as well as complex surgical procedures including the Mohs technique, utilized to remove skin cancer in important cosmetically anatomic areas.
