About Janice R. Chang, MD
Dr. Janice Rollefson Chang grew up in the neighboring state of Arkansas but moved to Houston to do her undergraduate work at Rice University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology in 1989. She began her medical training in Arkansas and then transferred to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she graduated with high honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Scholastic Honorary in 1992. Dr. Chang then did both her internship and residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and an active member of the Houston Dermatological Society, Texas Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Chang has been in practice with Dr. Terry Williams since 1998. During medical school and residency, Dr. Chang served eight years as a medical officer in the Texas Army National Guard. She spent most drill weekends at the armory in La Marque, Texas, familiarizing herself with the bay area. Dr. Chang is married with three children. Her husband, Noel, also a Rice University graduate, is a math and engineering teacher in the Clear Creek Independent School District. She and her family are active members of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church where Dr. Chang enjoys singing in the choir. She and her family enjoy multiple activities and stay active in the Clear Lake community.
