About James Pasternack, MD
Dr. James Pasternack has practiced ophthalmology since 1988. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology and received his medical degree at New Jersey Medical School. He completed a residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital and a Fellowship in Glaucoma at Tufts University – New England Medical Center. Dr. Pasternack is a board-certified ophthalmologist, Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut and Clinical Instructor at Yale. He has volunteered for several overseas surgical eye projects. Dr. Pasternack is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians. Dr. Pasternack is on staff at The Eye Surgery Center, Hartford Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital and The University of Connecticut.
