About Howard L. Brooks, MD
Dr. Howard Brooks is considered by his peers, his patients and the media to be one of Washington, D.C.’s leading cosmetic dermatologists for his expertise and commitment to quality care. A graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, he completed his medical internship at Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, and his residency at Howard University Hospital, which included experience at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Children’s National Medical Center and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Dr. Brooks is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association. He is the author of numerous scientific and clinical articles in peer reviewed journals and texts. Additionally, Dr. Brooks often serves as an expert source for local and national media outlets including CNN, Dr. Oz, CBS, Fox News, WJLA/NewsChannel 8, InStyle, Washington Blade, The Georgetowner, and WTOP radio.
