About Hooman Khorasani
Dr. Khorasani is the Chief, Division of Dermatologic & Cosmetic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a triple board certified, fellowship-trained cosmetic and skin cancer surgeon. He is a diplomat of: American Board of Dermatology (Procedural Dermatology) American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (Dermatologic Cosmetic Surgery) American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery Dr. Khorasani has specialized training in advanced skin cancer management (melanoma, basal & squamous cell carcinomas). He is an expert in Mohs micrographic surgery and post-Mohs reconstructive surgery. As one of the co-founders of the Tisch Cancer Institute’s Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center, Dr. Khorasani is actively involved with clinical trials and the advancement of skin cancer therapy. Dr. Khorasani is fluent in three languages: English, Swedish and Farsi.
