About Homayoun Sasson
Dr. Sasson is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, with more than 20 years of experience. Over the years, he has helped numerous men and women achieve their aesthetic goals. A graduate from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Dr. Sasson served his residency in General Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He completed his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world renowned residency program at Yale University Hospital. Achieving fellowships in Surgical Oncology at the John Wayne Cancer Institute at UCLA and Hand and Micro-surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Sasson is considered a specialist in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sasson serves as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at two Northwell Health Hospitals. In addition to his many affiliations and extensive professional experience, Dr. Sasson is considered an authoritative resource for consulting and teaching. His techniques are taught to a multitude of residents and peers at programs at Northwell Health Hospitals as well as to medical students at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra where he is a clinical professor. Dr. Sasson has been honored to be named The Teaching Consultant of the Year award by Northwell Health Systems.
