About Gwendolyn Henao, MD
Dr. Henao attended Baylor College of Medicine in the world-renowned Houston, Texas Medical Center on a full tuition academic scholarship then continued to complete her residency as a surgical Obstetrician-Gynecologist. In her years of training, she had the privilege of meeting plastic surgeons during reconstructive gynecologic procedures, at which time her interest in facial cosmetic procedures sparked. She had the luxury of training to perform non-surgical cosmetic facial procedures and further refined her skills after residency with facial plastic surgeons, completing multiple advanced courses. She has been in private practice in San Diego since 2005, offering an assortment of rejuvenating procedures alongside her concierge-style gynecologic practice. Her patients feel fortunate to have a doctor who can understand and care for their multiple needs in a professional, confident and well-rounded manner. She has skill accompanied with excellent bedside manner.
