About Gregory A. Dumanian, MD
Dr. Dumanian combines excellent training with a caring and attentive bedside manner. He performs a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries, including cosmetic & reconstructive breast surgery. Dr. Dumanian is also an expert in full body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, facial rejuvenation, upper and lower eyes and injectables such as Botox, Restylane and Juvederm. Dr. Dumanian is board certified in plastic surgery, general surgery and hand surgery, and he is Professor and Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University. He lectures nationally on repair of the abdominal wall. This gives him the experience to perform all types of leading-edge cosmetic surgeries of the abdomen. His groundbreaking work on the bionic arm procedure was featured on the cover of the prestigious journal Lancet and in The New Yorker magazine. Dr. Gregory Dumanian, a native Chicagoan, graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College, and trained at the finest medical programs in the country. After graduating with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, he completed a five-year residency in general surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He followed this with three years of plastic surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh, one of the premier plastic surgery programs in the country. He then completed a fellowship in hand surgery at the Curtis Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
