About Georgios Ziakas, MD
Dr. Georgios Ziakas is a plastic surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Ziakas specializes in Mommy Makeovers including Labiaplasty, CoolSculpting®, Fat Freezing, Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, Breast Augmentation(Breast Implants), BOTOX®, and much more. Growing up in Greece, he was inspired to become a physician while surrounded by close family and friends who were well-established and recognized practitioners in the medical field. Upon graduating from the University of Ioannina School of Medicine in 1996, he moved to the United States where he trained, completed his residency, and began his career as a surgeon. Dr. Ziakas possesses a deep passion for his craft and serves as the #1 advocate to his patients, advising them on matters of safety and overall health. He combines the art and science of plastic surgery to achieve realistic results in alignment with the aesthetic goals and expectations of each patient. In addition to being inspired by his patients, Dr. Ziakas is also inspired by his family and network of close friends who provide him with unconditional love and support in his professional, personal and educational pursuits. Dr. Ziakas remains current on the latest advances in cosmetic and reconstructive techniques and participates in national and international meetings facilitated by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He also serves as a member in the Health Policy, Health Patient Safety, Healthcare Delivery and Legislative Advisory committees of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
