About George Yang
Dr. George Yang is a New York Facial Plastic Surgeon achieved double board certification in facial plastic surgery (2007-2017, in the process of maintenance of certification (MOC) in 2018 to renew for another 10 years) and otolaryngology (ENT) (2005-2025). A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, he obtained his M.D. with Honors from Cornell University Medical College (now renamed Weill Medical College of Cornell University). For Residency, Dr. Yang chose the highly acclaimed Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. By the final year of his residency, he had performed over 4000 surgical procedures of the face, nose, head and neck region. Most notably, Dr. Yang completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in California, making him a member of a small group of facial plastic surgeons with at least six years of specialized surgical training focused exclusively on the aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, nose, head, and neck. Since the completion of his training, Dr. Yang has practiced in New Jersey and New York City and is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society (NYFPSS), American Medical Association (AMA), Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY), and New York County Medical Society (NYCMS). Dr. Yang currently practices in his office at 132 East 76th St. on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The office includes an minor surgical operating room and state of the art medical facilities. He performs his full anesthesia cases at the Manhattan, Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital surgery center (MEETH)
