About Genevieve L. Egnatios, MD
Dr. Genevieve L. Egnatios joined Affiliated Dermatology in September, 2012. She received her undergraduate degree in physics and economics from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. After a career in the computer software industry, she attended Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Egnatios trained at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, for both transitional internship and dermatology, serving as chief resident. She then completed her dermatopathology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. Professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
