About Frederick Lester
Dr. Lester grew up in Abilene, completed his plastic surgery training at Baylor and UT Southwestern, and began his combined private practice and teaching responsibilities at Baylor in 1985. He brings over 27 years of practice experience to each consultation. He specializes in breast and body contouring, but performs all types of cosmetic procedures. The reconstructive portion of his practice centers on breast reconstruction following mastectomy and breast reduction. His facial rejuvenation procedures incorporate surgery, fat transfers, and use of botox and fillers to achieve lasting, natural results. He is regarded for his warm, low key personality and informative consultations. Dr. Lester maintains a conservative approach toward improving his patient’s appearance, concentrating on safe and reliable techniques that offer the greatest improvement with the least risk. He will spend significant time in the consultation to insure that plastic surgery is right for you. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a former president of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons. He still has some teaching responsibilities with the residents from UT Southwestern and is Medical Director of Baylor Surgicare at Valley View.
