About Francis Dysarz, MD
A 1992 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Francis Dysarz is a Board Certified Surgeon who has been treating patients and consulting in St. Louis for over 13 years. He has successfully performed thousands of hand and upper extremity surgeries, and is the only hand and upper extremity specialist in St. Louis who has done fellowships in hand surgery / upper extremity surgery and microsurgery. Dr. Dysarz left Milwaukee in 1984 for warmer climes and better baseball when he was accepted into the Medical Scholar’s Program at St. Louis University. While completing his General Surgery residency in New York City, Dr. Dysarz’ interest in architecture and engineering led him to specialize in the human hand, as the hand and fingers are indeed one of nature’s engineering marvels. He has extensive experience with work injuries and treating patients within the medical and legal frame work of the worker’s compensation system. He went on to obtain additional fellowship training in Microvascular Surgery in San Francisco at the Hand and Microsurgery Medical Group, and Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
