About Francis J. Clark, MD
Francis J. Clark, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist & eye surgeon at the Hatboro, Spring House, Blue Bell, Trappe, Bethlehem, and Levittown, Pennsylvania, offices of Ophthalmology Physicians & Surgeons, PC. He has been providing patients with individualized, compassionate care for more than 30 years and takes pride in his continuity of care for each patient, both before and after surgery. A magna cum laude graduate of prestigious St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Dr. Clark attended on a presidential scholarship. While a student at Jefferson Medical College, he received high honors in ophthalmology from Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and later completed his ophthalmology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to general ophthalmology and cataract and oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Clark has a special interest in LASIK refractive surgery and advanced technologies in cataract surgery. He has been active in refractive surgery since the early 1990s. As a longtime ophthalmologist, Dr. Clark has experienced the changes in refractive surgery and routinely performs cataract and LASIK surgery with the skills that only long-term experience generates. With a rich background in all areas of ophthalmology, Dr. Clark’s special interests include small-incision, no-needle, no-stitch cataract surgery, femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, glaucoma management & laser surgery, LASIK refractive surgery, and oculoplastics. Dr. Clark currently performs surgery at Wills Eye Bucks Surgery Center in Warminster, Abington Surgical Center in Willow Grove, Surgery Center at Limerick in Limerick, and Jefferson Surgery Center in BlueBell. He is also on staff at Abington Hospital. Dr. Clark is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Greater Philadelphia Eye Care Centers of Excellence.
