About Emmanuel A. Lat, MD
Dr. Lat is a New York Mount Sinai Hospital-trained cosmetic surgeon who rigorously trained in all aspects of plastic surgery. His experience, expertise, and dedication, have earned him certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been clinical assistant professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for years. Despite their busy schedule, he and his wife find time to organize and participate in an annual surgical mission doing cleft lip and palate surgery for indigent patients of third world countries. Dr. Emmanuel A. Lat graduated with his medical degree in 1972 from University of Philippines College of Medicine, Manila, Philippines. He completed his general surgery residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital. New York, New York. Dr. Lat completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital where he became Chief Resident.
