I have been obsessed with skin care for quite some time now. It began serendipitously 20 years ago when I purchased a gift certificate for my mother and decided to try a facial myself. I realized almost immediately that skin care was my passion, and took a part-time job at said spa while still in college. It didn't take long to realize it was the career for me, six months later I was attending Zenzi's cosmetology school in San Francisco. I worked as an Esthetician at Simply Skin, in Santa Rosa for the next 7 years, developing my skills in the art of waxing and effective skin care solutions. While still at the spa, I took a position with Sothys Paris Skincare, training and educating their clients along the west coast. In April of 2007, Wanting to try my hand in another area of the business, I accepted a full-time position with Sothys as an Account Executive for Northern California. I had the opportunity to see everything that was being done in spas and salons, from stunning to dreadful and everything in-between. The experience and knowledge gained was priceless, and while I enjoyed educating, I missed the hands on experience of working on my own clients. I have taken all of my experience and knowledge to create Skin Obsession. A place where I can offer honest, expert, and effective skin care solutions, with a nurturing and healing touch, and provide these services at affordable prices. I have chosen my hometown of Santa Rosa, in the gorgeous wine country, to open Skin Obsession. I feel so lucky to be located in the historic Marshall mansion upstairs from the exquisite Ca'Bianca restaurant. Truly combining my two passions, food and skin care.
