About Elizabeth M. Damstetter, MD
Dr. Damstetter is a graduate of the esteemed Boston University Medical Center residency training program in Dermatology and certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of Iowa, and she is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. Dr. Damstetter completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center, followed by a Clinical Trials fellowship in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University conducting research in the fields of acne, rosacea, psoriasis, lupus and melanoma. She has focused expertise in several areas, including melasma and pigmentary disorders, acne & rosacea, gynecologic dermatology, wound healing and scarring, skin cancer detection, and disorders in skin of color. With extensive cosmetic training in chemical peels, botulinum toxin, fillers, lasers/IPL, radiofrequency devices, cryolipolysis, sclerotherapy and microneedling, she offers a wide range of services to address concerns related to scarring, aging skin, wrinkles, unwanted hair, visible blood vessels, lip enhancement and skin discoloration. Dr. Damstetter is passionate about offering patients individualized solutions for their unique concerns while developing strong relationships for a lifetime of optimal skin health and aesthetic potential.
