About Dylan B. Alston, DO
Dr. Alston was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009 from Brigham Young University with a degree in Nutritional Science and went on to study medicine in Chicago at Midwestern University. Following medical school, he completed his internship in Corvallis, Oregon and his dermatology training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. During his time in Texas, Dr. Alston trained under some of the world’s leaders in general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. Throughout his training, he has published extensively in the areas of connective tissue diseases, laser tattoo removal and served as the lead author on a pivotal paper regarding the treatment of advanced melanoma in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Alston’s philosophy of care involves listening to his patients and then as a partnership, engaging in shared decision-making. Dr. Alston is married to his beautiful and supportive wife Ashley. They have been blessed with 3 wonderful daughters, Zoey, Reese and Remington. When he is not in clinic he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, hiking and spending time with his family.
