About Dustin M. Heringer, MD
Dr. Dustin Heringer is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in oculofacial plastic and cosmetic surgery. He grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota and earned his medical degree in his home state at the University of North Dakota. Following medical school, Dr. Heringer performed his residency training at the Oregon Health Services University of Portland, where he studied Ophthalmology and general surgery. After his residency, Dr. Heringer completed two separate fellowships. He first completed a two-year ASOPRS approved ocular and facial plastic surgery fellowship at the Arizona Center for Plastic Surgery in Tucson. He then completed a one-year ABMS approved general cosmetic surgery fellowship at Tulsa Surgical Arts in Oklahoma. Following his training, Dr. Heringer served our veterans as the oculofacial plastic surgeon at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona and an active researcher who has published multiple scientific papers and medical book chapters. In his spare time, Dr. Heringer enjoys activities with his wife and two children.
