About Devinder Singh, MD
Dr. Singh is an assistant professor of surgery in the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Columbia University, and completed a combined general surgery and plastic surgery residency at Yale University. He is the Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore, and the Co-Director of the Kernan Hospital Cleft Palate Clinic. In 2011, he was appointed by the Governor to the State Medical Board, and in 2012 he was voted a ""Top Doc"" in Cosmetic Surgery by Baltimore Magazine. Dr. Singh's special interests include facial cosmetic surgery, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and body contouring. His original scientific research on body contouring was presented at national meetings, and he was awarded the Yale Plastic Surgery Research Prize for developing a new approach to treat obstructive nasal air passages during rhinoplasty (nose surgery).
