About Debra A. Bakal, MD
Born and raised in Philadelphia, she attended Yale University for her undergraduate studies and the University of Pennsylvania for medical school. Upon completion of an internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, she trained as a dermatology resident at Cook County Hospital. In 1995, she joined her husband in his dermatology practice. Her special interests are medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, infectious diseases of the skin and allergic contact dermatitis.
