About Deborshi Roy, MD
Dr. Roy went to New York University where he majored in English Literature and was Pre-Med, graduating with honors. He then went to the State University of New York Downstate Medical School and graduated with honors. He completed his surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He then went on to train with world-renowned facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon Devinder S. Mangat, M.D. in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Roy is board-certified in both Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Roy sees all patients with ear, nose and throat disorders, including children. He has a special interest in nasal and sinus surgery, as well as facial plastic surgery. Dr. Roy uses the most innovative techniques and technology to perform procedures in the office as well as the operating room, including Balloon Sinuplasty. Meticulous surgical technique, compassionate patient care, and attention to detail are the hallmarks of Dr. Roy’s practice. He is always concerned with his patient’s safety, comfort, and confidentiality. Dr. Roy is also interested in clinical research. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as many chapters in medical textbooks. Dr. Roy speaks English, Bengali and Spanish fluently. He has been in practice for 7 years, and has recently moved to Southern California from New York. He enjoys travel, sports, music, dancing, and films.
