About Dawn C. Buckingham, MD
Dawn C. Buckingham, MD is a board certified physician specializing in oculoplastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery at Eye Physicians of Austin, located in Austin, Texas. She is an expert in the reconstruction and correction of eyelids, eyebrows, and tear ducts. In addition, Dr. Buckingham also offers dry eye treatment, Botox®, urgent care, and glaucoma treatment. She also provides general ophthalmology services to patients of all ages. Dr. Buckingham is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, where she also completed her residency in ophthalmology. She went on to fellowship training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Buckingham is a member of many medical associations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Buckingham continues to hone her skills by learning new techniques and exploring new technology as it’s made available. Dr. Buckingham has held leadership positions in numerous local, state and national organizations. She is currently serving the citizens of Texas as the Texas State Senator for District 24.
