Dr. David Mosier has practiced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Austin for over 20 years. His expertise spans the gamut of plastic surgery. As an Austin cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Mosier, has had extensive surgical training including a five year general surgery residency through the Hahnemann/ Drexel University system in the Philadelphia area followed by a 3 year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. David Mosier attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry. He received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Mosier is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons and former president of the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons and former Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Mosier has been recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor for the last 13 years and Austin Monthly Top Doctor for the last 5 years.
