About David A. Horvath, MD
Dr. Horvath was raised locally in Allentown, PA and went to Muhlenberg College for his undergraduate education in Biology. He received his Medical Degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completing a residency in General Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center. He then traveled to Indianapolis to complete a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center. He accepted an extended fellowship in cosmetic plastic surgery while in Indianapolis and then went on to an advanced Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Miami, Florida. He trained under world-renowned surgeons and some of the leading innovators in Plastic surgery including the past President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. After completing his training he was recruited to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland Ohio to help build a regional Surgical Program in Plastic Surgery. During that time, he participated in the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship Program, teaching Residents the newest techniques in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Today, Dr. Horvath continues to mentor Future generations of Plastic Surgeons as he participates in the education of the Temple University Plastic Surgery Residents. Dr. Horvath performs all aspects of both aesthetic and reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He has a special interest in Breast Surgery, including Augmentation, Reduction, Lift, and particularly the revision of prior augmentation breast surgery. He also has interest and experience in Body contouring surgery, performing the latest techniques after bariatric surgery. During his Fellowship in Florida, he developed a special interest and skill in all aspect of facial cosmetic surgery. His reconstructive interests lie in Breast reconstruction and reconstruction after skin cancer removal. His specific focus lies in obtaining the most aesthetic possible reconstruction. Dr. Horvath continues to peruse the newest technologies to provide the widest possible array of treatments available.
