About Daniel P. Luppens, MD
Daniel Luppens, M.D., specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face and body and has advanced training in surgery of the eyelid and surrounding tissue (occuloplastics). He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery Dr. Luppens earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude from Duke University. After completing his surgical residency at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Dr. Luppens completed advanced training under world-famous aesthetic surgery innovators PACES Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, GA and Grossman Plastic Surgery in Denver, CO. Originally from Salisbury, Maryland, Dr. Luppens worked at Atlantic Plastic Surgery, a successful Salisbury private practice until 2012 when he was recruited to direct VCU Medical Center’s cosmetic surgery program.
