About Dale A. Kooistra, MD
Dr. Dale Kooistra is a board certified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience and offers general, surgical and cosmetic treatments. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has a B.A. from Hope College in Michigan and a Ph.D. in chemistry from California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in immunology at Stanford University Medical School before attending medical school there. After medical school, Dr. Kooistra finished a year of internal medicine residency at San Jose Valley Medical Center before his dermatology residency at Stanford University Hospital. He has special interest in the areas of Medical Dermatology, Surgical Dermatology, and Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Procedures.
