About Cynthia M. Goodman, MD
Cynthia M. Goodman, M.D., is an accomplished plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and practices in Marin County, California. Previously, she was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital. Dr. Goodman was born and raised in Sacramento and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley. She graduated from one of top plastic surgery residency programs in the nation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In 1994 she received the prestigious Samuel Spira Award for excellence in plastic surgery scholarship. She has authored numerous articles in the major plastic surgery journals on such topics as breast implants, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, and carpal tunnel syndrome. She has also made numerous television appearances including one on facelifts. Dr. Goodman belongs to a number of prestigious medical and honor societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) and the California Medical Association.
