About Craig F. Teller, MD
Craig F. Teller, MD, is a native Houstonian and has been practicing dermatology since 1995. He is an honors graduate of the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. After an internship in internal medicine at UT Houston, he completed his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Prior to establishing Bellaire Dermatology with Howard Gerber, MD, in 1997, he served as staff dermatologist at the Diagnostic Clinic of Houston. Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Teller holds an academic appointment as Clinical Instructor of Dermatology in family medicine at Baylor College of Medicine as well as Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He has given more than 100 presentations and lectures nationally on a variety of topics, including advanced cosmetic procedures, advanced psoriasis care, phlebology, laser treatments, and challenging skin conditions. He is recognized as a national trainer for his expertise in the use of cosmetic injectables. He has also been recognized as a Top Doctor by his medical peers in several national publications, including Texas Monthly from 1999-2019. Dr. Teller is the author or co-author of articles published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, Psoriasis Forum, EADV, and poster exhibits at national and international meetings. He is a member of the National Medical Advisory Board. When not practicing, Dr. Teller enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling, wine, and sports.
