About Craig R. Hoekzema, MD
West Michigan native Craig R. Hoekzema, MD, is an ear, nose, and throat specialist at West Shore ENT & Allergy. Dr. Hoekzema provides general ear, nose, and throat diagnosis and treatment to patients of all ages at West Shore ENT & Allergy’s medical offices in Norton Shores, Grand Haven, and Ludington, Michigan. Dr. Hoekzema graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and remained there to complete his residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Hoekzema’s special medical interests include ear surgery, bone-anchored hearing aids, rhinoplasty, facial plastic reconstructive surgery, allergies, and voice surgery. His extensive research findings have been published in several peer-reviewed medical publications, including the Journal of the American Medical Association: Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hoekzema also has special interest in pediatric ENT. In fact, he focused on this field during his training program at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. To keep up with the latest advancements in his medical specialty, Dr. Hoekzema maintains active membership in the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He holds medical licenses in Michigan and Wisconsin and is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
