About Courtney H. Crombie, MD
Courtney Crombie, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. She holds a special interest in complex corrective breast surgery for both cosmetic and reconstructive issues. She has excellent experience in the newer technique of fat grafting for both reconstructive contour deformities of breast and extremities, and in facial cosmetic applications. Dr. Crombie is an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah. She divides her time between the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, and the VA Hospital. She also maintains operating privileges at Primary Children’s Medical Center, Jordan Valley, and LDS Hospitals. She is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the VA Hospital.. Dr. Crombie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is also a member in both the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Courtney Crombie was born in Maryland and raised in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. There she completed her Undergraduate and Medical Degrees at the University of New Mexico. She finished a complete residency training program in General Surgery at East Carolina University in North Carolina. In order to satisfy her artistic pursuits she sought additional surgical training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah. During Dr. Crombie's free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and the plethora of pets that are a part of her family. She loves the outdoors, particularly snowboarding, gardening, wildlife watching and fly-fishing.
