About Cole D. Lundquist, MD
Cole D. Lundquist, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in biology and chemistry. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School followed by a year's internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Dr. Lundquist completed his residency in Dermatology at University of Illinois Medical Center where he worked closely with world renowned dermatologist Dr. Lawrence Solomon. In his last year of residency Dr. Lundquist was elected Chief Resident and appointed clinical instructor in the department of dermatology. Dr. Lundquist is currently an assistant clinical professor at the University of Illinois Medical Center. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at numerous local and national professional meetings. He was awarded Outstanding Instructor at Resurrection Hospital, listed as Top Dermatologist in Guide to Top Doctors, and is cited in Consumer's Research Council of America as One of America's Top Dermatologists. He has been a guest on both syndicated television and radio shows. He has been a member of several hospital boards and is currently serving on numerous pharmaceutical advisory boards. Dr. Lundquist has also acted as a consultant for several pharmacuetical companies. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Dermatologic Society, and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Lundquist has volunteered his time with Passion to Heal, an organization that provides medical care at the Free the Children's Baraka Health Clinic in rural Kenya, Africa. There he treated many children and their families who otherwise would have been out of reach of medical treatment. He also volunteered his time and expertise helping locals in native villages in Papua New Guinea.
