About Christy S. Rainey, MD
Dr. Christy Rainey is a board certified dermatologist with over 10 years of experience in general and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys practicing all aspects of dermatology, learning new skills and the latest trends at dermatology meetings. She graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts and her Medical Degree. She was accepted into dermatology residency at the Boston University affiliate in Providence Rhode Island, Roger Williams Medical Center. She spent 2 years as the chief resident at her program, and graduated in 2007. She practiced for 4 years as a dermatologist in El Paso, Texas, while her husband fulfilled his commitment as a United States Army Physician. In 2011, Dr. Rainey and her family moved to San Antonio where she started her dermatology practice. Dr. Rainey has a kind heart and passion for her patients. She always tries to treat each patient as an individual, and help them understand their skin condition before they leave. She is very knowledgeable in the latest treatments in dermatology and has a passion to learn more. Dr. Rainey is the mother of 2 children, Ella & Benjamin, and she enjoys spending her time off with them. Her husband is also a dermatologist and Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army.
