About Christopher M. Stroud, MD
Dr. Chris Stroud is a board-certified dermatologist with special interests in skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and atopic dermatitis. He believes in delivering expert, individualized care, focused on each patient’s unique objectives. With a passion for treating common and complex skin conditions, Dr. Stroud specializes in developing treatment plans to maintain and restore the skin’s overall health. His experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology enables him to employ a variety of techniques to achieve these goals. Dr. Stroud earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with University Honors and College of Natural Sciences Honors. He earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and performed his internship at Houston Methodist Hospital. He completed his dermatology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he served as Chief Resident at the VA Medical Center and county hospital system. He is an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society member and is affiliated with the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and Texas Medical Association. Continuing education is important to Dr. Stroud, who has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and lectured at some of the top academic institutions in Texas. He joined Dallas Associated Dermatologists in October 2017. In his free time, Dr. Stroud enjoys cooking, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.
